If the door on your oven is loose or falling off, there could be a problem with the door hinge. The most common cause of oven door hinge failures is that one of two components will fail - either the hinge itself or the hinge receiver.

Over time hinges can become worn and less effective, so if you obtain this replacement hinge, you could bring back the easy movement to your oven door once again.

TECHNICAL UPDATE:

As of 28/09/2019 Cassinetta ovens began using two types of door hinges—*Brera and *Nuova Star (Please refer to Image 3).

Supplied is the newer Nuova Star Hinge – this DOES NOT work with the old hinge receiver. Replacing the new Nuova Hinge, a new receiver WILL BE REQUIRED (Part Code C00628004). This hinge receiver is compatible with both Brera and Nuova hinges and is used for all Cassinetta ovens after 28/09/2019.

When replacing the hinge on a Cassinetta oven made BEFORE 28/09/2019 you MUST also order the new Hinge Receiver (C00628004). This ensures replacement when you receive the Nuova hinge.

For any ovens made after 28/09/2019 – you DO NOT need to order the new hinge receiver as it is already built into the oven.
